Oregon Love

If there is one state in the entire united states, that I love, beyond words....it's Oregon.

The spell of the latino lover, quickly became transparent of true colors. Ayden and I took flight back to the states, in hopes for a fresh start.
I wanted something new. Something totally different that what I ave ever experienced. I made some connections online before my trip, in Portland Oregon and May 2015, we flew out.

The mountains, fresh air, hippie community, and local mom and pop shops, quickly stole my heart.
The friends I had made instantly turned to family and my heart was warmed by all the naked babies running around together. It was peaceful here and like Mexico in so many ways, but in so many ways, it was different.

Where both places were laid back, people had an understanding of the importance of just being outside and wrapped up in nature and community was center focus. The difference was that Oregon felt older..wiser..more rooted and stable. There was an ancient understanding and magick in the air. Mexico, although had so much history to it, felt like a party center, immature, fun but not focused.

We enjoyed so much time outdoors, exploring so many different things. We hiked Mt Helen, and swam in her fresh crisp rivers. The towering ancient trees almost brought tears to my eyes, their beauty was magnificent. The family we stayed with had chickens, and Ayden loved to collect their eggs each morning, for fresh breakfasts. I discovered lavender coffee at the local cafe, which was an instant and much deserved daily addiction!

We went strawberry picking, and tasted the sweetest, juiciest strawberries of our lives.
We stayed in Oregon for about 3 wondrous months before our next adventure. In those 3 months, we did so much, but there was still so much to see and do. One day we will go back.

Did you know, you can travel with me too!
